Planing Oak Boards for Cabinet Building — A Video from the Workshop

A quick look from the workshop: running rough oak boards through the planer to prep the lumber for a cabinet project. I always like watching those first passes peel off the rough surface and bring out the clean, straight-grained wood underneath.

Oak is hard and heavy to work with, but it planes nicely and makes cabinets that last. The video shows the planer in action.
