I picked up a couple of new houseplants from the clearance rack at Lowe’s. I potted one up in a woven basket and dropped the other into a copper pot. Here they are settled in by the window: a big split-leaf philodendron in the basket and a colorful croton in the copper pot. They should brighten up the room.
