Indoor Plant Lighting for the Wisconsin Winter — Bonsai and Succulents in the Basement

As the days get short and cold here in Wisconsin, the plants all come inside for the winter, and they need good light to make it to spring. Here’s my basement setup — shelves of bonsai, succulents, cacti, and houseplants under fluorescent grow lights. It keeps everyone growing through the dark months. You can spot my Serissa bonsai in there along with a bunch of other little potted plants.
