Dog of the Day 11-5-2011 — Shih Tzu’s — Toodles and Holly
Our Dog of the Day for 11/5/2011 features Toodles and Holly, two Shih Tzus with great chemistry.
“This is Toodles and Holly. Holly is 9 years old and Toodles is 1. Toodles kind of drives.”
“Toodles kind of drives” might be the best line we have gotten in all of Dog of the Day history. There is an entire story contained in those four words — the young upstart Toodles, age one, absolutely convinced he is in charge, while nine-year-old Holly watches with the patience of a very wise senior dog who has seen it all before. Holly has nearly a decade of experience in this household and knows that sometimes it is just easier to let the puppy think he is in charge. Shih Tzus are wonderful at every age, but watching a young one and an older one find their rhythm together is something truly special. These two look absolutely adorable together. Thanks for sharing this dynamic duo with us! Do you have a multi-dog household? We would love to hear about the dynamics!
“Toodles kind of drives” might be the best line we’ve gotten yet! Thanks for sharing this dynamic duo.
