Dog of the Day — Akiva The Dog for 11/11/11

Hi; This is my Boy Akiva. He is 8 years old and he goes with me everywhere. During the day he either sits with me or sits in his stroller that is right next to my chair. Akiva and his brother Vasco are my 2 best buddies! He loves moo-tubes as you can see in the second photo, that was from earlier this evening. He loves going for car rides and walks. He is a very good boy and I’m very lucky to have such a wonderful Shih Tzu.

Akiva is the definition of a loyal companion — he goes everywhere with his owner and spends his days as close by as possible, whether sitting right alongside or riding in his stroller like the distinguished gentleman he is. Eight years old and still going strong, this wonderful Shih Tzu has clearly had a life full of love, car rides, long walks, and all the moo-tubes he could ever want. Having his brother Vasco by his side too — what a lucky household that must be! Shih Tzus are known for forming deep, unshakeable bonds with their people, and Akiva is a perfect example of that.
