Oreo is our Dog of the Day for 12/30/2011, a sweet adopted boy who loves the great outdoors.
Oreo was adopted. He is so sweet, loves the outdoors, a people person, doesn’t bark (only in his sleep), he loves to go for walks and rides.
Only barks in his sleep — that is one of the most endearing dog details I have ever heard, and it tells you everything about Oreo’s gentle, easygoing nature. This sweet black and white Shih Tzu was adopted, and from the sound of things his family hit the absolute jackpot. He is a people person, an outdoor enthusiast, a lover of walks and car rides, and apparently completely silent during waking hours — unless he is chasing something in a dream. Those studio portraits show a dog who is settled, content, and completely at peace with his life. Rescue dogs like Oreo seem to have an extra appreciation for the good things, and Oreo sounds like a dog who takes none of it for granted. We are so glad he found his forever home and that his family shared him with us as we close out 2011! Give Oreo a like today!
