Akiva with his new toy (video)
Akiva and his new toy. We handed it to him expecting the usual chewing and tossing, and instead he did the most Akiva thing possible: he tucked it right under his chin and settled in. “Oh, Akiva, you got your new toy, and you’re using it as a chin rest!”
It is one of those small, perfect things that make living with a dog so wonderful. He found himself a comfy perch, plopped that little chin down, and stayed there happily. Pure Akiva. Here is the short video from 2012.
