Wild Blackberry Patch
Found a great wild blackberry patch and couldn’t resist stopping to pick. There’s something really satisfying about foraging for free fruit right off the brambles — the canes were absolutely loaded with berries in every stage, from green to red to deep ripe black.
Karen got right in there in her bright neon hoodie, reaching past the thorns for the best ones. Wild blackberries are smaller than the cultivated kind but the flavor is intense. Well worth a few scratches on the arms.
