A Walk Along the Lake Geneva Lakeshore Path — Estates, Gardens, and Evening Light

We took a trip down to the Lake Geneva area in early June and walked the famous lakeshore path. If you’ve never done it, the path winds right along the water past the historic estates and gardens — a nice way to spend an afternoon and evening.

Karen led the way with her backpack as we made our way along the shore, with the boats and piers off to one side and nice landscaping on the other. There were peonies in bloom and a little garden waterfall lined with yellow iris. A pretty corner of southern Wisconsin.

Have you been there? I'd love to hear your favorite spot.
