Vasco was around three years old here, back in 2007. This rubber chicken, who we named Henrietta, was one of his favorite toys. She had a squeaker inside and the silliest little outfit, and Vasco would carry her all over the house, flop down with her, and gnaw on her happily for as long as we would let him.

I came across these old clips again recently and they made me laugh. Vasco was such a character. It is funny how a goofy little toy can bring back so many good memories. I sure do miss those days.

2026: Sadly, Henrietta has suffered from the ravages of time…
