Singing Squirrels in Neenah

We get plenty of squirrels at the feeder, but this one really committed to the job. I walked out this morning and found him stretched flat across the top of the peanut cage, helping himself, completely unbothered by me standing a few feet away with my phone. He did not even pause. So naturally, I took his picture.

The actual squirrel, caught raiding the peanut feeder this morning. And that little bird? It is a metal cutout that is part of the feeder, not a real visitor. It waits there year round and never gets a single peanut.

Then, just for fun, I handed the photo to Gemini and asked it to make the squirrel dance and sing. Ten seconds later it gave me back this. It is completely ridiculous and not even slightly real, but it made me laugh out loud, so here it is.

For the record, the real squirrel did not dance, did not sing, and did not offer to pay for a single peanut. But he is welcome back anytime. He puts on a better show than most of what is on TV, and he works for nuts.
