Vasco is a dog we’ve taken a ridiculous number of photos of over the years, and it’s something to see them all in one place. This gallery is a pile of my favorites — the goofy ones, the ones where he looks like he’s up to something, and plenty in between. That shot of him…
Vasco has apparently always had a thing for Tonka trucks. Way back in 2004, when he was just a tiny puppy, I had this old classic metal Tonka dump truck — the kind built to last, clearly well-loved, with that durable painted steel look. He fit perfectly in the back and just sat there like…
Going back through some older photos of Akiva and Vasco from their younger years. These two have been such a big part of my life, and it’s always fun to look back at pictures of them from way back. There’s one of them snuggled up together resting on an orange pallet jack out in the…
Halloween 2011 was a full house of costumes around here! The whole crew got dressed up, and they were very patient with me and the camera. Akiva as a Chicken Vasco as a Cow Bae as a Unicorn (front) and Hera as a Bumble Bee (back) Our trick-or-treat setup — candy bucket on the table,…
A look back at Akiva and Vasco in August 2008. These two have been the best of buddies for years, and it’s always fun to revisit the older photos. Here they are hanging out on the couch — Akiva on the left and Vasco on the right — doing their favorite thing, which is being…
Vasco da gama! Caught my boy mid-yawn here, and the timing couldn’t have been better — what an expression. He’s got a goofy, lovable personality, and shots like this catch it. Never a dull moment with this one around.
A day of planting many plants at my parents, and a few here at home. This evening we got to try out our new firepit that I got for my Birthday. It worked out nicely. We watched a movie on Netflix on my Vaio while we sat by the fire. We used the bug spray…
Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Vasco! Here’s my boy all decked out in his green plaid for the occasion on 3-17-2011. He even brought along an orange toy to round out the look.
Akiva and Vasco hanging out together on Vasco’s birthday, 3-15-2011. These two are practically inseparable, so naturally they celebrated together. Here’s a few from the day — the boys doing what they do best, which is keeping each other company. Happy birthday, Vasco!
Happy 7th Birthday to Vasco! Celebrating my buddy on his big day. Seven years old and still as playful and sweet as ever. Here’s a few photos of the birthday boy in his festive best. Happy 7th Birthday, Vasco buddy — we love you!
Here’s Bae (left) and Vasco (right) on Christmas morning, dressed up in their holiday sweaters and surrounded by wrapping paper. The boys always got into Christmas morning, especially with presents to investigate.
