JPEG · PNG · WebP · TIFF — drop several to batch-scrub. Everything stays in your browser.
🧺 Batch scrub
Strip the metadata from every photo at once and download them as a single ZIP. Each file is cleaned locally and verified; nothing is uploaded.
Scrub it
Remove the metadata and download a clean copy. The surgical method keeps your image pixel-for-pixel — only the hidden data is deleted.
Resize & convert
Make a photo smaller for email or the web, or change its format. —
Crop & rotate
Drag the box to crop. Use the corners to resize.
Redact faces, plates & addresses
Drag across the image to cover anything private. Each box can be pixelated, blurred, or blacked out.
Tip: pixelate & blur can occasionally be reversed by determined people. For anything truly sensitive, use Black box — it can't be undone.
Color palette & picker
The dominant colors in your photo. Click a swatch to copy its hex. Or move over the image to pick any pixel.
Why this whole thing runs in your browser
Most "online" photo tools — EXIF removers, resizers, redactors — make you upload your picture to their server first. For a privacy tool that's backwards: now your original (GPS and all) is sitting on someone else's machine. Pixwright never does that. It reads and rewrites your photo with JavaScript on this page. There's no upload button because there's no server to upload to — turn off your Wi-Fi and it all still works. And because every edit is rebuilt locally, resized, cropped and redacted copies come out metadata-free too.
