Dog of the Day for 1/4/2011 Ruby the Shih Tzu
Our Dog of the Day for 1/4/2012 is Ruby, the newest little peanut in her family of Shih Tzus.
“Ruby is my newest addition to my Shih Tzus. She is six months old and just reached four pounds. She has a lot of spunk for such a little peanut. She holds her own with our other dogs. She loves to give kisses and snuggle up.”
Four pounds of pure spunk — that is Ruby, and we are completely smitten. At just six months old and barely tipping the scale, she is the newcomer in an established pack of Shih Tzus, and she is already holding her own. That combination of tiny size and enormous personality is one of the most irresistible things about small dogs, and Ruby sounds like she has it in abundance. She may be the smallest one in the household but she is clearly not the quietest — and she more than makes up for her size with kisses and snuggles and that fierce little spirit. A Shih Tzu who knows her worth from day one is a wonderful thing. We are so glad her owner welcomed her and shared her with us! Do you have a tiny dog with a giant personality?
